Brian Palmer was raised in the Midwest and has since lived for much of his life in the various and singular regions of Colorado with some intervening years in the Pacific Northwest. Each of these places—with its unique topography, natural beauty, history, and spirit—has and continues to significantly affect his life and poetry. After a fulfilling career as a high school English teacher and theater director, he now pursues full-time his interests in reading, studying, and writing poetry. He publishes his work regularly in various print and on-line journals, and he’s the editor of THINK: A Journal of Poetry, Fiction, and Essays. He currently lives in Juneau, Alaska.
