Athar C. Pavis grew up in New York City and studied literature in France. She lives both in Maine and in France where she has worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and teaches at the Sorbonne. Her poems have been published in the UK, Canada, and in U.S. magazines, in Able Muse, Five Points, Trinacria, The Comstock Review, and The Orchards Poetry Journal, among others.
