James Miller began writing poetry as a student in the English department at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in creative writing, James continued to New York University where he completed his Master of Fine Arts in poetry. Today he lives and writes in New Castle, Delaware, where he won the state award for an emerging poet through the Delaware Division of the Arts.
James attends and reads at various literary events throughout the state, and his poems have been published widely both in the USA and abroad.
