John David Muth was born and raised in central New Jersey. He has been an academic advisor at Rutgers University over twenty years. In addition to writing, he enjoys hiking, taking road trips, and volunteering for environmental causes in his spare time. He is a member of the Delaware Valley Poets/U.S. 1 Poet’s Cooperative. His work has appeared in such journals as Misfit Magazine, Verse-Virtual, and U.S. 1 Worksheets. He is the author of six collections of poetry: A Love for Lavender Dragons (Aldrich Press, 2016), Inevitable Carbon (Aldrich Press, 2017), Odysseus in Absaroka (Aldrich Press, 2018), Reassure the Phoenix (Aldrich Press, 2019), Dreams of a Viking Wedding (Aldrich Press, 2020), and Misanthropes Rarely Procreate (Aldrich Press, 2021).
