Paul Bussan is the author of two books of poetry, A Rage Of Intelligence, and On Freeing Myself from a Full Nelson Hold and Other Sonnets, which was a finalist in the 2007 Writer’s Digest International Self-Published Book Awards, and in the 2008 USA Book News Awards and 2008 Next Generation Indie Book Awards.

His poems have appeared in The Road Not Taken: a Journal of Formal Poetry, Quadrant Magazine, The Yale Journal of Humanities in Medicine, Snakeskin, Trinacria, Lucid Rhythms, Victorian Violet Magazine, White Coffee, and Danse Macabre. They have been also read by Garrison Keillor on The Writers Almanac. Jennifer Reeser has praised his work for its “unassailable craftsmanship” and has said that Paul Bussan has a voice that is like no one else’s! And of his work X.J.
