William A. Greenfield grew up some forty miles north of New York City in the small hamlet of Montrose, New York where he learned how to climb trees and make change at the local supermarket. His poems have appeared in dozens of literary journals, including The Westchester Review, Carve Magazine, The American Journal of Poetry, and many others. He lives with his wife, son, and a dog, always a dog, in Liberty, New York where he works as a Family Development Specialist for a nonprofit agency.
