Delaware native Nina Bennett is the author of Sound Effects (Broadkill Press Key Poetry Series, 2013) and Mix Tape (2018). Her poetry has been nominated for the Best of the Net and has appeared in numerous journals and anthologies. Awards include 2014 Northern Liberties Review Poetry Prize and second place in the poetry book category from the Delaware Press Association (2014). A lifelong social activist, Nina is a healthcare provider with a subspecialty in secondary trauma and end-of-life issues. She is a founding member of the writing group TransCanal Writers.
