Claire Drucker is a Jewish lesbian mom, teacher, poet, and identical twin. Her poems have been published in numerous journals, including Phoebe, Controlled Burn, Epiphany, Puerto del Sol, Cresset, and Women Artists Datebook, to name a few. Her previous collection of poems, The Fluid Body, was published by Finishing Line Press in 2014. Claire lives in Sebastopol, CA, where she’s been a longtime English teacher at Santa Rosa Junior College, but now she helps high schoolers find the right college fit as an independent educational consultant. Her passions are dancing, swimming, and hiking with family and friends, as well as communing with pelicans and grey whales off the Pacific coast.
