Kip Knott’s writing has appeared in numerous journals and magazines in the U.S. and England, including The American Journal of Poetry, Barrow Street, Beloit Fiction Journal, Gettysburg Review, Long Poem, Poems & Plays, The Sun, and Virginia Quarterly Review. He has received grants from the Ohio Arts Council in both poetry and playwriting and is also the author of four poetry chapbooks: The Weight of Smoke (Bottom Dog Press); Whisper Gallery (Mudlark); Everyday Elegies (Pudding House); and Afraid of Heaven (Mudlark). Currently, he teaches literature and composition at Columbus State Community College in Columbus, Ohio. In his spare time, he is an art dealer who travels the Midwest and Appalachia in search of those lost treasures that can still be discovered at small town flea markets and antique stores.
