Federica Santini lives in Atlanta and teaches at Kennesaw State University, where she also coordinates the Gender and Women’s Studies Program. She holds an M.A. from the University of Siena, Italy, and a Ph.D. from UCLA, where she studied poetry and literary translation. A literary critic, poet, and translator, she is the author or co-editor of five volumes on literary theory and poetry. Her work has been published widely in the U.S. and Europe, including in publications by the University of Toronto Press, Firenze University Press, Mondadori, Marsilio Editori, and others. She is a 2021 Desert Nights, Rising Stars Writers Conference Writing Fellow (Arizona State University).
