Jennifer Lagier lives a block from the stage where Janis Joplin performed, and Jimi Hendrix torched his guitar at the 1967 Monterey Pop Festival. She has published twenty books, taught with California Poets in the Schools, helps coordinate readings for the Monterey Bay Poetry Consortium and serves as managing editor of the Monterey Poetry Review. Her degrees are: Ph.D. in Computing Technology in Education from Nova Southeastern University, M.A. in English from California State University, Stanislaus, M.L.I.S. from the University of California, Berkeley. Newest books: Meditations on Seascapes and Cypress (Blue Light Press) and Camille Chronicles (FutureCycle Press).
