Sandra Noel works as a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, and interpretive writer developing award-winning environmental education posters, brochures, exhibits and interpretive signs. She served as Vashon Island Poet Laureate for 2022–2023. Her poems have appeared in Pontoon, Buddhist Poetry Review, and other journals. They are also published in chapbooks entitled The Gypsy in My Kitchen and Into the Green (Finishing Line Press); The River (Kelsay Books); and Unraveling the Endless Knot (Middle Creek Publishing); and two full-length poetry books, Love, Island (Goldfish Press) and Hawk Land (Middle Creek Publishing).
